All of us use pronouns everyday! Some examples of pronouns are He/Him, She/Her, or They/Them. We, as well as the people around us, use pronouns to refer to ourselves and each other in conversation. Sometimes people prefer different pronouns for a variety of reasons. Whatever the reasons are though, it is important to help each other feel comfortable and respected by referring to people as they’d like to be.
