Sometimes we may notice that other races are treated more poorly than others. This is referred to as racial inequality. We should always be striving to make everyone equal and give different races the same benefits and opportunities as everyone else. There are many ways you can promote equality:
- Learning more about different cultures.
- Making friends with people from different backgrounds.
- Reporting any inequality you witness to a trusted adult, parent, or teacher.
- Supporting causes that work to bring more equality to BIPOC communities.
Sometimes people think that promoting equality is a big job. When you think about it, it can be! However, it’s our daily actions and choices that we make that can make the biggest difference.
