We can be an ally to the BIPOC community. An ally is someone who supports diverse groups, listens to their experiences, and promotes equality. We can always learn something new by listening to other people and their experiences. Some of the situations our BIPOC friends experience include being treated unfairly because of the color of their skin, getting bullied for wearing cultural clothing, or being called mean names. These experiences are sad to hear, but it’s important so that we can support and stand up to those who choose to bully.

When it comes to racism, we must be vigilant in listening to our BIPOC friends and peers who experience discrimination. When we listen, we learn. When we learn, we can be an ally.
