Something wonderful about racial diversity are the different countries and cultures that can be appreciated. There are so many amazing foods, sites, and music that inspire many of the plays and films we see today. When we learn about other countries and cultures, we can gain respect and appreciation for that culture. Plus it’s always exciting to learn something new!

Think about another country or culture you would like to learn more about. Research a specific aspect that you find interesting. This could be a specific food, the language, an animal, a celebration, or even clothing. Write down what you learn and consider the following questions. Why did you choose this particular country or culture? What are some fascinating things you learned? Write your thoughts in 1-2 paragraphs.
